How much work is this for my kitchen team?

Almost none. Mystery Boxes are listed automatically each day with no manual setup — they appear on the app for customers to find. Custom Boxes are optional, and only take 30-60 seconds to publish when you want to feature specific items. There's no POS integration, no new hardware, and no staff training. The whole system is designed to fit around your existing workflow.

What if I don't have surplus on a given day?

You don't need to manually post every day — Mystery Boxes are listed automatically. On days when you want to feature specific items, you can add Custom Boxes. Full participation expectations are covered in your Restaurant Terms when you sign up.

How do I get paid, and when?

Customer payments are processed securely through our payment provider and paid out to your nominated bank account weekly, automatically. Setup takes about 5 minutes when you onboard. No invoicing, no chasing payments, no manual reconciliation.

How does the commission work?

We charge a per-order commission only — no monthly subscription, no listing fees, no setup costs, no hidden charges. We only earn when you make a sale. The specific commission rate is detailed in your Restaurant Terms before you list. By comparison, the major food delivery apps in Australia typically take 25–35% of every order.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. You decide what every box costs. Our only rule is the listing must be at least 50% off your normal retail price — that's what keeps ResQBox an actual deal for customers and the platform credible. Within that, you have full control.

What if a customer doesn't show up?

You keep the full payment. The food is yours to redistribute, donate, or take home. We send customers reminders before their pickup window opens, and no-shows are tracked — repeat offenders lose access. You're not on the hook for anyone else's flakiness.
