Is the food fresh?
Restaurants on ResQBox typically list items they've prepared that day for normal sale but haven't sold by closing time. The freshness, quality and safety of every listing is the responsibility of the restaurant — not ResQBox.
If you have allergies, dietary needs, or any concerns about a specific item, please check with the restaurant before ordering.

Can I see what I'm getting before I order?
It depends on the box. Mystery Boxes are a surprise — the restaurant decides what goes in, and you find out at pickup. Custom Boxes show you exactly what you're getting, with photos and descriptions, before you pay. Filter for either type in the app.
How do I find restaurants near me?
We use your phone's location (with your permission). The app automatically shows you what's available within walking, cycling or short driving distance. No address typing needed.
What happens if I can't make the pickup time?
If you miss the pickup window, the order is forfeited and we offer the food to the next customer or it's donated. There's no refund for missed pickups — pickup windows are tight because the restaurant is closing for the day. We send you a reminder before your window opens.
Is ResQBox just for budget-conscious people?
ResQBox is for anyone who likes good food, doesn't like waste, and appreciates a fair deal. Students. Families. Foodies trying new places. Office workers grabbing dinner on the way home. The food is great. The price is just a bonus.
Do you deliver, or is it pickup only?
Pickup only. Delivery would add cost, complexity, and emissions — and pickup is part of what makes ResQBox affordable. Most restaurants on the platform are within easy reach. We'll tell you the exact distance before you book.
